Employee burnout is when your workers lose both the motivation and the incentive to finish their work and achieve desired results. Today’s IT departments are particularly under pressure, being pulled by numerous stakeholders at any given time and meet pressing business demands. Employees need time to better rejuvenate, communicate and innovate, and the crux is on leaders to build an environment for workers to add more value. So in stepping back from our always-on culture, what are the warning signs of employee burnout that leaders should be aware of, what are the factors that place this pressure on their heads, and how can companies demonstrate they care for employees by putting an environment in place to prevent it?
